What our clients are saying about our service

"Craig was very good and explained to us what to do. Albert has responded to the training very well!"
Mr & Mrs D. W, Shirley, Croydon 15th May 2009

"Sorry our dog bit your trainer! However he worked wonders and Boycie is now a changed boy that is fully under our control. Thanks Bark Busters (The bite was just a scratch)"
Mr S. O & Ms Z. H, Coulsdon, Surrey 12th May 2009
Trainer's Comments
Boycie is a 2 year old male Rescue Dogue de Bordeaux who was stranger aggressive, territory aggressive, jumping excessively and pulling on the lead. With an unknown previous history there was evidence that Boycie's previous owners had resorted to physical punishment hence his fear of men. Boycie is really a lovely dog who was simply harbouring fears by association from his previous home. He was also assuming the minder of the pack. Thanks to the dedication of his new owners under the guidance of therapist Phillip Gazzard, Boycie is a happy reformed dog. As for the nip, hey it was just a scratch and goes with the job.

"After Phillip's visit we are so impressed with Henry's change in behaviour. Henry is responding really well to us and we are enjoying him a lot more! We should have done this a little while ago!"
K & M. F, Sanderstead, Surrey 7th May 2009
Trainer's Comments
Henry is a 6 month old Wire Haired Hungarian Viszla, with a wonderfully characterful personality. Henry, like most puppies, was in need of some leadership to calm his hyperactivity, and to resolve his barking, jumping up on visitors, and pulling on the lead. Henry's devoted family have taken on board all of the advice and guidance provided by therapist Phillip Gazzard, and have seen a rapid transformation in his behaviour. Henry is a happier dog as is his family. Well done!

"Phillip was extremely helpful and gave us confidence that we could train Bonnie and overcome all of the problems we are having with her behaviour."
Mrs J. V, Herne Hill, London 30th April 2009
Trainer's Comments
Bonnie is a characterful 5 year old female Border Terrier with a soft submissive nature and a willingness to please. She was previously nervous around other female dogs and had a propensity to react aggressively towards them. She also had a habit of barking and scavenging for food due to an underlying instinct to supplement her primary nutritional requirements. This was contributing to poor recall. By addressing pack leadership and nutrition, Bonnie is now responding well to her Bark Busters training.

"Phillip Gazzard was courteous, helpful and patient in addressing our problems with an "over-exuberant", much loved but somewhat out-of-control Black Pug 1 year old! Winston responded so quickly it was incredible, and harmony has been restored to our home and walkies in the park! One session achieved miracles! Thank you!"
V. W, Knightsbridge, London 19th February 2009
Trainer's Comments
Winston is a completely adorable dog, who's personality perfectly matches his name. he is diligently intent on pleasing his owners but was simply a little confused as to what his role was supposed to be within the pack. By establishing some simple psychological boundaries and simplifying the signals he was receiving, Winston has now discovered how to please his devoted owners, and they have discovered how to please Winston in a more meaningful canine way. Well done V.W and L.C!

"We were very pleased with Phillip's help and direction with Koko. We couldn't believe how quick the techniques worked, within seconds Koko was behaving and responding -MAGIC! Many thanks, would definitely recommend."
N. A, Stanmore, Hertfordshire 17th February 2009

"Brilliant system - Already having effect after 24 hours"
RS, london NW6 14th February 2009

"We have seen a marked difference in Scout, after just one session. Walking her is now a pleasure, as she trots along happily at heel instead of pulling on the lead and walking ahead."
AY, Streatham, London 13th February 2009

"I certainly see improvement with Remy. I need him under control as my husband is recently disabled with a stroke and Craig is certainly getting us there"
RH, Carshalton, Surrey 12th October 2008

"I had an excellent session with Craig who clearly laid out the future plans for training our new puppy and we started some basics there and then. I look forward to having a happy well balanced dog."
Lord B. D, Clapham, London 8th October 2008

"I was very surprised with how quick Piper responded to the training. I have noticed a big improvement after just one session. He is a completely changed dog."
Mrs H. O'B, London NW2 1st September 2008
Trainer's Comments
Piper was the sort of dog that liked to keep an eye on his pack. This behaviour became a problem when it got to the stage where he was deciding who was allowed to enter and leave the pack territory (sometimes aggressively so). Within a matter of hours we had reversed the pack leadership and given the responsibility for the front door back to the owners. They are now happy and Piper is relieved not to have all that responsibility resting on his shoulders!

"The Whole family cannot believe how rapidly our two Jack Russell's have responded to the training. I have just answered the door to a delivery man whilst the two dogs sat quietly at the kitchen door... Amazing!"
Mrs S, Croydon 22nd July 2008
Trainer's Comments
These delightful 6 month old Jack Russel's seemed to enjoy barking at almost everything in the house and garden, they were also very keen to ensure they were first to the front door when someone knocked, which made taking deliveries a battle of wills. The family have been shown how to restore peace to the house and garden by putting good leadership in place. Both dogs have also been relieved of their front door duties, which is a relief for them and the family.

"Very useful - made us all more confident. (Decca is responsive and better fed!)"
RP, Kennington, London 21st July 2008

"Very worthwhile - and we are working with my dog at improving his faults. He is great walking now - no pulling, he's better in the car -not so much barking, and we are making progress with the doorbell - he still barks but is improving. Craig is returning to help us with "recall""
T.V., Islington, London 17th June 2008
Trainer's Comments
Bark Busters -Craig Steiff has been working with this client and his 3 year old Mexican Hairless Dog. Initially we were contacted to help resolve constant barking at the doorbell, barking in the car, pulling on the lead, jumping up and recall. The client has already experienced a substantial improvement in his dog after the very first session. Improvements will continue to be progressed as subsequent visits are made.

"Craig was brilliant with the dogs. Very perceptive & very thorough. There is already a difference in their behaviour after just one session. I didn't think it was possible."
A. R., Clapham, London 11th April 2008
